My “how did you get into photography?” story… grandpa liked to show slide shows of his travels and ‘club’ photography entries. I loved to watch. I was 16 and purchased a SLR film camera at a pawn shop in downtown Mesa. I still love my SLR. Upgraded to a nicer DSLR in 2007 or so and have been plugging along since.
Not having access to a studio has not stopped me from taking studio style images. I am crafty and bring the studio to you. I would love to own my own studio someday but for now this works for me.
If you asked where my happy place would be I have a few but the top on the list is walking on the beach and looking for sea glass, shells and rocks. It has always been a love of mine to just search the sand enjoy the sky and sun. I will walk for miles before I realize I have to walk back to our staked out spot. My walking app loves when I get to the beach. The beach is a happy spot for me. I would love to make it to an East coast beach and a tropical beach. West coast beaches are all I have been able to visit so far. All other beaches are definitely on my bucket list. I love a good sunset too. Arizona has some phonemically amazing sunsets! I guess anywhere outdoors makes me happy.
